Love Notes ~ Vol. 1

For years I have researched placenta encapsulation but was always hesitant. With my 3rd baby I decided to give it a shot and I was NOT disappointed! I went to BirthsAndBeyond.com and I had the most amazing experience. Brandie made everything about it so easy from start to finish. She answered any questions I had day or night, educated me on the benefits of each product (I didn’t even know so many different options existed) and kept me updated throughout the process. I received the capsules, tincture, salve for myself with lavender and one without lavender for baby, as well as a keepsake print. It was packaged soooo beautifully along with instructions on how to use it all. I know this might not be for everyone but I didn’t think it was for me either until I did it. If you’re an expecting mama with any questions, contact her you will be so glad you did  

If you want the most compassionate, thoughtful, supportive, professional and considerate doula, you found one right here! I initially contacted Brandie for the placenta encapsulation, but ended up having her as my doula as well. I had a home birth and Brandie came over several weeks before the due date. I loved her energy right away! 

She brought some interesting information regarding birth and placenta encapsulation, affirmations, suitcase full of stuff to help a woman during labor: natural pain management tools, essential oils, snacks , honey sticks, etc. 

My labor began at 5:15 in the morning. I called Brandie, she picked up right away and came to my place very fast. What a huge help and support we received from her! 

She helped me find the most comfortable position to deliver my baby and supported me all the way through labor and delivery and afterwards. 

We still keep in touch because I just love her and her energy. Meeting her was a true blessing"

 I'm so happy and content with Brandie’s work. She picked up my placenta on short notice. She did the placenta art and cord keepsake. She gave me and my baby the chance to remember forever the organ that gave my child life. Thank you so much, my family could never repay you and most important part it was made with love and happiness. 

 Brandie was the best and I couldn’t have gone through the labor process without her. She took the time to get to know me as well as my spouse. She called and checked on me often and gave me things to do or take such as the raspberry leaf tea to prepare me for labor. I had a birthing plan and she took a copy home and went over it. She made sure my birthing experience went according to my plan as much as possible. She didn’t treat me as if I was a client but as if I was family. 

While I was in labor another one of her clients water broke early and she made it to where she was able to support the both of us. She called, texted and even FaceTimed the other client to coach her and make sure she was ok until she got there. With over 48 hours of no sleep she managed to help with 3 deliveries back-to-back in one week and I promise you if she didn’t tell you, you wouldn’t have known because she was so filled with energy and excitement. She’s very passionate and loves what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking for an awesome caring doula.

 We are so glad we found Brandie to assist us for our birth! She was so easy to connect with, and really understood our preferences; she educated us on things that we were unsure about, but encouraged us to make decisions for ourselves. 

She was a huge support during the birth as well! She suggested different positions to help me get comfortable, reminded my partner of things we wanted to do during the birth, and kept our family in the waiting room informed. 

After the birth, she encapsulated the placenta, made some of it into a salve and a tincture, and made the umbilical cord keepsake for us - and we could not be more grateful! I've already told a few people about her because we were so happy with her services.

Brandie has such a big heart and cares so much about her mamas. I am so grateful I found her during my Doula search. If you had asked me before my labor, I was sure I needed one because all moms recommend it. But having one at my labor, I truly understand why having a great doula makes a world of difference. 

There were so many times that she was just there with exactly what was needed and when it was needed. I swear she knew before I did. She was also a huge help for my mom who was there as my birth partner. There were several times I was so ready to give up and Brandie was there to support and encourage and help me push through. My labor was 22 very intense and hard hours and I was able to do it all naturally because she encouraged me to keep going and knew I had it in me. 

Thank you Brandie for being such an important part of my son's birth, and for following up with us at the hospital and on our journey. So glad we met and got to share this!

There are no words to express the amount of gratitude my fiancé and I have for Brandie! At first, we were unsure if we were going to hire a doula. And after searching I am so beyond glad, we found births and beyond doula service! Brandie did such an amazing job at helping me to feel prepared, heard and respected. As a first-time mom, it was so helpful having someone with experience to help guide us during the most important time in our lives. 

My birth went as planned and I was able to have a natural unmedicated delivery. Thanks to my fiancé and Brandie’s support! She stayed with us the whole time, dealt with me through the pains of the transition stage and was overall fantastic, compassionate and caring. She worked so hard to help us get the ambience we wanted.

Brandie is a huge reason I have such a positive, beautiful, happy outlook with the birth of my daughter. She helped me so much during my surges and labor and was truly an amazing addition to my intimate birth team. She was kind, patient, calming, and joyous. I also got my placenta encapsulation supplements that have been helping me postpartum. She added small touches to the packaging of them that was very thoughtful. I am very thankful for her and the services she offers. I would recommend any mama looking for a doula to head in her direction :)
